The Grand Americana is made in the Catskill Mountains of upstate New York from solid Northeastern Hardwood, which is not endangered, and is self-replenishing. All scraps are recycled into wood pellet fuel. (Where veneer panels are needed, such as drawer bottoms, these panels are solid plywood and do not contain particle board.)
